They blow up like 2 crocodiles with a grenade launcher and for that it’s better than Lake Placid Legacy

My favorite part is where two of our heroes stop a 40 foot long crocodile from entering a house by pressing their bodies against a door that's 90% glass.
Awful, awful CGI. Basically a complete rehash of the first movie, with more boobs and gore (I know that sounds good, but really it's not). Cloris Leachman takes over for Betty White; she's just as crusty, only she straight up lures people to their deaths.
Also, this takes place at the same lake as the first movie; maybe they should put up a f*cking crocodile warning sign at this point, because people keep taking boats out on the lake. Either that or stop letting those Bickerman ladies live there.
And what…

this movie so uninteresting that we started talking about beaches and weather in the watch party chat. deaths are all off-screen with terrible cgi and clearly no budget (they had to cgi the small plane) the rest can’t be any worse, right?

I like this movie! It’s one half of the Duke Brothers as Sheriff! He was just fine! His son was a jerk. And I’d love him to be my towns sheriff! I really had fun watching this movie. I had no clue how Sheriff was going to rid lake of crocodiles. But the ending is great. “ you mean there’s a huge crocodile standing behind me”… Chomp Chomp!!! Guy was not a nice person anyway! Enjoy!

It’s complete sh*te but considering my luck of watching several series of films recently with god awful sequels, this wasn’t actually that bad.
The writing is bad, the effects are laughable but it doesn’t take itself too seriously and I had a fairly decent time with it. Fun for all the wrong reasons.

Lake Placid 2 (2007) is a movie I recently watched on Tubi. The storyline involves a return to Lake Placid where the storyline for the first film has been covered up. When a member of the environmental protection agency disappears on Lake Placid the local sheriff starts poking around to uncover what's going on...the body count increases and more people are sent in to "help" the sheriff find the culprit.
This movie is directed by David Flores (Boa vs Python) and stars John Schneider (Smallville), Sarah Lafleur (Shall We Dance), Sam McMurray (Raising Arizona), Cloris Leachman (Young Frankenstein) and Justin Urich (How High).
This is a super bad and weird movie. It's like they tried to cast people who were…

LAKE PLACID 2 makes you say what the f*ck consistently throughout the film. Poorly made, terrible continuity, and some of the worst cgi I’ve ever seen. Can’t believe this costs 2 million to make because you are left questioning where it all went. Kind of amazing it’s this bad.

This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
Schneider is the sleepy Maine county sheriff with lousy CGI croc problems as his lake serves up local obnoxious "teens", ecological scientists, big game hunters, and a deputy to the large scaly monsters, often treated to human lunchmeat by Betty White's sister, played by Cloris Leachman...she's got no time for anyone banging on her door, slamming it into your face, especially if her sister or croc issues are brought up! Schneider's uppity son, Collins, is visiting from a Boston suburb, trying to stay alive with fellow pretty local, Ziegler. Lafluer is the wildlife expert often at odds with McMurray's bobcat-killing hunter. Todd helps keep McMurray alive and kills animals for him but tires of his bossy nature. God, the CGI crocs are atrocious. Leachman might amuse with her insults.
